Chef Paulie O’Connor’s talent and passion for food is clear, and his philosophy is all about simplicity. Using only the essential ingredients needed to create impeccably delicious and beautifully plated Italian-inspired comfort foods. His attention to detail is paramount: starting with flour imported from Italy which is artfully handcrafted into pasta, to house butchered local farm-raised meats that turn into homemade sausage, guanciale, pancetta and lardo, right down to the the bitters in your cocktail.
He is serving many of his (and our) old favorites such as the lasagna, lamb shank and calamari, and new dishes such as duck confit mac and cheese with a cajun bechamel and venison papperdelle. OYG has a full bar with specialty cocktails and local beer on tap.
